QTorrent is a BitTorrent client that uses the Qt widget-set. It allows you to
have several torrents open at the same time from within the same program
window, offering you easy overview, access and management through a list-mode.
Every torrent also has it's own page where you can control things like upload
speed and upload slots. A page that shows some statistics of all open torrents
is also available.

JACK bitmeter is a diagnosis tool for JACK audio software on Linux
(and perhaps other systems which have JACK and GTK+ 2.x). As its
name might suggest, the bitmeter operates at the bare metal of
JACK's I/O layer, looking at the 32 binary digits in each individual
sample.
Think of bitmeter like the cable detector in your toolbox. You
cannot use a cable detector to drive screws into wood, or to undo
bolts, or measure the length of a copper pipe, but it's the perfect
tool for detecting hidden cables in walls before you drill. You will
rarely need bitmeter, in fact most JACK users will never use it at
all, but having it and never needing it is much better than needing
it and not having it.

Breakage is an intelligent step sequencer and drum machine designed for live
breakbeat performances. It uses neural networks and pattern morphs for fluid,
high level composition.
Write drum patterns in a step sequencer grid and use a neural network to learn
the similarities between drum channels. The trained neural net can generate
complementary parts to your live drum programming.
Transitions can also be made by editing, loading a pattern from the database or
morphing. Morphs - timed matrix operations - smoothly fade, add or subtract
from one pattern to another.
The pattern editor shows two patterns at once to allow transitions to be
previewed. The currently playing pattern is shown with the central red circles
and the next pattern is indicated by the circle's borders.
Features:
* Neural network pattern generation
* Fluid morphing between patterns
* Pattern similarity statistics
* Future preview pattern editor
* Grid based step-sequencer drum machine
* Pitch and swing controls
* Distortion effect
* MIDI sync
* Load & save sessions and nets
* Mouse-over help system
Is Breakage open source?
The ChucK script is. The Java application isn't. It's all free to use.
A nice Web Interface for the BTQueue project.

Tune-It is a very simple command-line based instrument tuner for Linux.
It uses two different algorithms for pitch detection. By default, a simple and
fast Schmitt Trigger based algorithm is used to detect the fundamental
frequency of an instrument. For better and more reliable results, there is an
alternative FFT based algorithm which is much more CPU intensive.
As audio capture backends ALSA and JACK are supported. By default, tuneit will
try to use the hw:0,0 ALSA device.

SmoothMetal is a wrapper for some of Sun's Java Look and Feels to enable
anti-aliasing.
Anti-aliasing is the process of smoothing text and images by introducing
intermediary colours to fool the eye into believing that the resolution is
somewhat higher than it is. Thus a black character on a white background is
'smoothed' with shades of grey. You can see this in Windows XP when using
ClearType, or enable it in X11 using Xft. MacOS X and RISCOS users get it
for free along with KDE and Gnome desktop users on Linux, Solaris and
elsewhere.
While operating systems have moved ahead and most now offer anti-aliasing,
Sun has said it will not be officially offering anti-aliasing in Swing until
Java 1.5. SmoothMetal allows you to get around this and make your Swing apps
look just a bit better.
Extreme Effects - The ultimative effect processor.

JarDepend analyzes the interdependencies between jar (java archive)
files. This is useful to add only the required dependencies in the
CLASSPATH.
Developed originally to get to know all dependencies of the jar file.
Use it with:
jardpend.sh [-options] -jarfile jarfilename -cp classpath
Horgand is a organ, generates sound with a FM based audio
synthesizer with twenty carriers (10) without modulators in a
plain based algorithm. Each carrier frequency can be modified
for construct complex sounds. The synthesizer incorpore also a
LFO (Low frequency oscillator) for generate tremolo effects
and detune effects applying LFO Pitch and Amplitude to the
carrier frequency's..
Some carriers can modify their ADSR to convert in marimba sounds.
Four DSP effects are available for obtain more complex sounds,
Rotary, Chorus, Delay and Reverberation.Sounds are stored in banks
of 44 organ sounds and can be changed external with MIDI program
change (1-44).
horgand use the advantages of ALSA sequencer to auto-connect your
devices.
OSS, ALSA and Jack are available for audio output.
horgand incorporates chord recognition to produce auto-accompaniment,
(bass and drums), bass lines are editable for each rhythm, up to 20
rhythm's can be defined.

Jmeters is a Jack multichannel audio level meter app.
It looks very similar to meterbridge since it uses the
same pixmaps.
This first release offers VU, PPM and stereo versions of the
same. The stereo versions have two indicator needles on the
same scale. I've never seen a twin VU, but stereo (or M/S)
PPMs *do* exist. Later releases will add bargraph meters,
digital peak indicators for the analog ones, and a stereo
correlation meter.
